The final day to early vote is Saturday, and over 60,000 voters have already cast ballots, surpassing the turnout from four years ago. There are 26 early voting locations in Shelby County for voters to select from.
They can vote at any of those locations, regardless of their designated precinct, unlike election day.
Election officials are urging voters to check their information, look over a sample ballot, and bring a valid photo ID because Shelby County is now divided into three districts by new congressional borders.
For those who have relocated since the previous election, early voting is also the most convenient choice.
Election day is next Thursday, August 6.
