Yesterday, a 6 year old, non-verbal, autistic child passed away after being left alone on a daycare bus, with an internal temperature of 109.
Bryan Jones said his daughter Winter rode the bus from Kid University in Cordova but was never taken off the bus when she was supposed to arrive at Macon-Hall Elementary School.
Memphis Police confirmed that at 3:23PM Winter was found in need of medical assistance on Walnut Knoll and was taken to the hospital in critical condition, where she was pronounced dead.
The Tennessee Department of Children’s Services is currently involved in the investigation of 6 year-old Winter’s death.
