The Bluff City has a new business on its plate: Dave’s Hot Chicken will be opening its second Tennessee location in the Poplar Plaza Shopping Center, according to Finard Properties.
Construction has already begun and is expected to be completed by the end of the year, with such transformations to the area including revamping the Plaza’s iconic tower where Spin Street once stood.
“We believe this is a win for the neighborhood, Poplar Plaza, and the City of Memphis,” said Rick Smith, Director of Real Estate for Finard Properties. “Dave’s Hot Chicken is one of the nation’s fastest-growing restaurant brands, and we’re excited to welcome only the second Tennessee location to Memphis.”
