A 22-year-old man is currently in jail after police revealed he killed his missing three-year-old son and discarded him near the Wolf River harbor.
Saul Martinez is charged with first-degree murder, first-degree murder in perpetration of a criminal to wit: aggravated child abuse, abuse of corpse, tampering with evidence, and aggravated child abuse.
Police said the boy’s body was found in a suitcase in a rural location near the Wolf River Harbor.
Saul Martinez allegedly told a family member that the child was dead and that he put the infant in the Wolf River, according to a police affidavit issued Tuesday.
He was booked in jail the same day. This is currently an ongoing investigation.
