Three children’s remains were discovered in an empty field in Hickory Hill, according to Memphis Police Chief C.J. Davis on Wednesday.
According to Chief Davis, the discovered human remains were confirmed to be between three and seven years old.
Memphis Police Chief CJ Davis stated during a press conference that the investigation began on March 8 following a suspicious report.
An anonymous caller reported seeing a “possible human skull” in a forested area.
Over the next few weeks, investigators discovered the human remains of three children believed to be between 3 and 7.
According to Davis, there isn’t an active threat at the moment.
