Following voting issues during Shelby County’s early voting session, county officials convened a news conference on Wednesday.
Ahead of Thursday’s election day, the NAACP, the Shelby County Democratic Party, and community partners say they want to address voter concerns.
Concerns have been raised about polling machine functionality and other voting-related issues.
This comes after the Shelby County Election Commission reported that four judicial races were missing from one early voting machine at Christian Life Church in Bartlett.
Election authorities said the problem seemed to be confined to one computer, impacting about 300 voters, and blamed on human error.
