More than 100 employees at the Kellogg’s facility on Frisco Avenue in Memphis will be laid off this summer.
On Monday, the business submitted a formal WARN notice to the Tennessee Department of Labor and Workforce Development.
A total of 117 union and non-union workers will be impacted by the permanent layoffs.
The layoffs are scheduled to start on August 7.
Kellogg’s said that it was shifting manufacturing from its oldest facilities and spending millions in new machinery.
