Members of the Sahuarita Police Department certainly could not have imagined they would ever be catching a bear in an improvised net.
Officers responded to a call of a wandering bear that had scrambled into tree branches in Rancho Sahuarita, which they successfully tranquilized and caught in a tarp they had stretched out below them.
The bear was safely relocated, and no injuries were reported.
