Following an error during early voting, the Shelby County Election Commission is inspecting every voting machine again.
This occurs while the Election Commission is still looking into an estimated 307 voters who cast ballots at an early voting location in Bartlett using a single machine that did not include four of the six special judicial elections that were supposed to be on the ballot.
About 300 voters were impacted, according to Election Administrator Linda Phillips on Monday.
The remaining machines are being retested, and the machine has been removed from service.
According to the election commission, over 90,000 people cast early ballots. Thursday, August 6 is election day for the state primary and general elections in Shelby County.
