One miraculous motorcyclist recently had the chance to reunite with the Tennessee Highway Patrol Trooper and National Guard Medic who saved his life earlier this Summer.
On June 1st, Memphian Mr. Gentry (no first names given) was riding his motorcycle home on I-240 shortly after midnight when he was struck twice by gunfire that came from a silver or champagne-colored Chevy pickup, causing him to collapse into the emergency lane.
Shortly after calling for help, Tennessee Highway Patrol Trooper Tremmel arrived first on the scene and administered First Aid until National Guard Medic Huisman continued Gentry’s emergency care prior to be taken to the hospital, where he was expected to make a full recovery after fighting for his life.
In addition to the touching reunion between these three men, police have arrested a person of interest on a weapon’s charge, but no has been officially charged in connection to the shooting of Mr. Gentry.
