According to representatives of the DeSoto County Sheriff’s Office (DCSO), a 13-year-old child who fell into a nearby lake on Monday afternoon is now dead.
A 13-year-old child fell into a nearby lake, prompting the Desoto County Search and Rescue team to be sent to the Lake Forest Subdivision in Walls, Mississippi, according to authorities.
The teenage boy was rescued and sent to a hospital, however DCSO officials confirmed he did not survive.
