In honor of Grammy-nominated producer Brytavious Chambers, better known by his stage name Tay Keith, a vigil was held in Raleigh on Thursday night.
At the age of 29, he passed away on June 18 at his Nashville residence.
Beyoncé, Drake, Chris Brown, and prominent Memphis figures like Key Glock and BlocBoy JB collaborated with Chambers to produce the hits “Look Alive” and “Shoot,” which made the producer famous.
Deon Conway, Chamber’s uncle, said, “One of the ones that started from the bedroom and made it mainstream.”
