This morning, the city of Collierville announced that their fire chief, John Selberg, has resigned from his position and will be retiring.
The city’s statement says, “We understand there have been questions raised in the community about his employment status, but it is not customary or appropriate in either the public or private sector to discuss details related to personnel matters.”
City officials said that the Collierville Fire Department will be run at this time by Acting Chief Mark Carter.
