Three brief security clips from inside the Burger King, where a task force agent shot and killed a wanted suspect, were made public by the Shelby County District Attorney on Wednesday.
At the restaurant on North Hollywood in Frayser, Darrin Pigram, 41, was shot and killed on May 13 while being served with a warrant by Memphis Safe Task Force agents.
According to the Drug Enforcement Agency, Pigram was shot by a DEA agent when he grabbed for a handgun in his belt. However, Pigram’s family insists that he was shot in the back without a weapon.
No criminal charges will be brought against the officer, according to the D.A. office.
