In a joint operation between the Memphis Safe Task Force, Memphis Police, the fire marshal’s office, and the Alcoholic Beverage Commission, a nightclub in Hickory Hill that police claimed had received a nuisance warning letter was busted on Saturday night.
It happened at Legends Bistro and Lounge on Knight Arnold Road.
At the club, the MPD’s Organized Crime Unit made six arrests and found firearms and illegal drugs.
Following the discovery of marijuana, guns, and a digital scale in the manager’s office, the club’s co-owner was taken into custody on suspicion of felony drug offenses and the unlawful sale of alcohol.
Police also noted that two security guards were providing armed security without the required licenses, leading to their arrest.
The investigation into Legends is still ongoing.
