The Memphis men’s basketball program unveiled a formidable non-conference schedule on Monday that included 14 games against strong competition.
The Tigers will play six Power 4 teams: Vanderbilt, Baylor, Texas, and against Wake Forest in the Battle 4 Atlantis tournament in the Bahamas.
On Monday, November 2, the 2026-2027 season tips off with a neutral-site game versus Iowa State. The Cyclones advanced to the Sweet 16 and finished with a 29-8 record.
Memphis will play VCU in the FedExForum on Saturday, November 7, for the home opener.
Based on the final 2025–26 rankings, the schedule had an average opponent NET of 96.7, which complements head coach Penny Hardaway’s approach of facing quality programs.
