Walmart’s new drone delivery services will be launched to the Memphis area.
According to the company, this means that Memphians can have groceries and over-the-counter prescriptions delivered to their backyard or driveway in as little as 30 minutes.
Walmart and Alphabet’s Wing drones, which can reach speeds of up to 60 mph and drop products onto customers’ properties, are used for the delivery.
By 2027, Walmart wants to provide the service to 40 million customers.
