The 18-year-old who was wanted for a mass shooting earlier this month in Brownsville, Tennessee, that killed a 17-year-old girl and injured six others has been captured.
Dequarius Dushun Lax faces numerous charges, including six counts of attempted first-degree murder.
Lax is accused of shooting seven people on May 8 at a pre-prom photo shoot at Brownsville’s Webb F. Banks Passive Park.
17-year-old Saturah Hayes was tragically shot to death.
Lax was taken into custody on Wednesday morning, according to the Tennessee Bureau of Investigation.
This happened one day after a combined reward of up to $7,500 was offered for information on Lax.
