Surveillance video of the deadly shooting of 1-year-old Kohen Wiley will be released to the public later this week after months of outcry from attorney Ben Crump.
This comes one day after Mississippi Attorney General Lynn Fitch concluded that the shooting was justified.
“If the footage supports the state’s decision, release it. We will not stop fighting until this family gets the truth,” Crump said in a statement Monday.
The officer who fired the fatal shots was cleared of any potential charges, based on a lack of evidence.
