A man detained in Franklin, Tennessee, on Monday was identified by the local authorities as being wanted in relation to human remains discovered in Trumann, Arkansas.
Rudy Ray was arrested Friday on a fugitive from justice warrant.
This comes after human remains were discovered behind a car dealership on Pine Street last week, according to Trumann Police.
Ray was taken into custody by Franklin Police after they responded to a suspicious person report at a truck stop. They discovered he was wanted in relation to the Trumann case while trying to figure out who he was and why he was in Franklin.
While plans are being made for Ray’s extradition to Arkansas, he is being held in the Williamson County Jail on a $1 million bond.
