Due to ongoing facility repairs, the Shelby County General Sessions Criminal Court at 201 Poplar will operate on a special schedule on Friday.
The problems with the facilities will also result in the closure of the Memphis City Court Clerk’s office.
Following flooding inside the courthouse on June 30 due to a water main break, the structure has continued to face problems.
Not only has it lead to the flooding, but also extreme heat temperatures inside.
It’s expected for all 201 Poplar courts to be open again next Monday.
