Authorities in Crawfordsville, Arkansas, said an 18-year-old suspect wanted for first-degree murder in connection with a fatal shooting in Cordova over the weekend was arrested on Monday.
Shelby County detectives issued a warrant for Dennis Fentress in the homicide of 42-year-old Joshua Jones.
Around 3:30 this morning, a Crawfordsville resident called the Crittenden County Sheriff’s Office to report that a suspicious person had knocked on their front door and asked for a blanket.
Fentress was found sleeping on a trampoline when officers arrived. He was taken into custody and charged with being a fugitive from justice, drug possession and obstructing governmental operations.
