The walls of the new Buc-ee’s off I-40 in Fayette County are going up, which was expected to open Summer 2026 but now has an opening date of May 2027.
This new 74,000 square foot Buc-ee’s travel center near Galloway will be the third for Tennessee, and will employ more than 200 full-time employees by opening date next year.
Fayette County Mayor Skip Taylor commented that Buc-ee’s will bring hundreds of thousands of dollars in sales and property taxes for the area. “It’s going to be a driver for this region here. This interchange is just begging to have something developed here.”
