A targeted shooting at a strip mall in the Fox Meadows community has left one person dead and two others in critical condition, according to the police.
At Knight Arnold and Mendenhall Roads, MPD, the Memphis Safe Task Force, and members of the National Guard were at the scene after the fatal shooting was reported around 4:30 p.m.
Three people were shot outside the mall, and one of them was pronounced dead at the hospital, succumbing to his injuries.
Police have been searching for a male suspect described in all black clothes who fled south on Mendenhall in a silver car.
