As the manhunt continues for escaped Tennessee inmate Jacob Morley, the Tennessee Bureau of Investigation is urging residents to check their properties and security cameras.
Morley escaped from Northwest Correctional Complex in Tiptonville, TN over a week ago on October 25.
“Morley should be considered dangerous, do not engage with him. Report anything suspicious or out of place to law enforcement,” said TBI.
His last known location was confirmed on October 26, 8 days ago, in Marion, Illinois, at a Pilot Travel Center. The truck he stole in Tennessee was found abandoned on another part of Marion.
TBI wants residents to check things like vacation homes, lake houses and cabins, sheds, hunting properties, and any area where an escaped convict could hide for an extended amount of time.
The reward for information leading to his arrest stands at $17,500 total with contributions from the Tennessee Governor’s Office, Tennessee Bureau of Investigation, and the U.S. Marshals Service.
