Age was not an excuse for not voting for K.T. Robbins, a 105 year old WWII veteran who casted an absentee ballot at the Desoto County Courthouse last Friday.
Not only is Robbins’ birthday on the Fourth of July, but he also served as a Sergeant in General Patton’s Third Army and participated in the D-Day operations.
Robbins would return home from the war and started up a store in Memphis with his late wife Lillian called Robbins Hardware.
News Talk 98.9 salutes Robbins for his service and the performance of his civic duties.
