Germantown Methodist Hospital is getting festive and honoring the quiet strength of its littlest patients, as babies in its Neonatal Intensive Care Unit donned Beanie Babies outfits ranging from ladybugs to lobsters.
These children are in Germantown’s NICU for varied and complicated reasons, from premature birth to serious illnesses and infections, with hospital officials even stating that one of their patients was born at just 24 weeks.
