After a weekend car crash, Democratic Congressional candidate Heidi Kuhn was left with a broken nose and other injuries.
She revealed in a social media post that along with her broken nose, she also suffered from a broken maxilla, multiple facial bruises, a black eye, and whiplash. Her husband, Matt, was also involved and suffered from whiplash.
“It is truly amazing that we are here, so the fact that we only have the injuries we sustained, I feel grateful,” said Kuhn.
They were released from Baptist Memorial Hospital on Saturday.
Kuhn is running for Congress in District 8 against Republican candidate David Kustoff.
