More information has been revealed in the fatal stabbing on Tuesday of an inmate at 201 Poplar.
Officials have reported that 19-year-old Jonathan Griffin has been charged with murder in the first degree for stabbing 23-year-old Erick Jones.
As per the stabbing details, around 9 a.m. on Tuesday, officers found Jones inside his jail cell with a stab wound on his neck.
That’s when they also noticed blood on Griffin, especially all over his left hand.
Griffin will appear on court on Thursday and is being held now on a $150,000 bond.
