A ceremony to honor the lives of 59 Memphis firefighters who died in the line of duty was held over the weekend.
They were honored with individual roses for each firefighter at the memorial wall at the Fire Museum in downtown Memphis.
Colin Burress, the Fire Chief of Memphis, stated that they will continue to remember and honor the officers that gave their lives for service, and for how they answered the call to save lives.
