The Town Administrator of Collierville’s job opening will now need to be filled after reports that the position held by Molly Mehner has been terminated.
Effective immediately, the Town of Collierville announced they have parted ways and stated, “Ms. Mehner served the Town honorably, and the Town appreciates her dedicated service.” There was no confirmation that it was for nefarious reasons, as they put it, it was an amicable split.
Mehner held the position since 2022, succeeding longtime Town Administrator James Lewellen following his retirement.
This all comes after the recent retirement of Collierville’s Fire Chief John Selberg, who was put on paid administrative leave back on August 10.
