In honor of Eliza Fletcher, runners gathered in Central Gardens early on Friday morning for the fourth annual “Finish Liza’s Run.”
Fletcher was abducted and murdered while out for a morning run in September of 2022.
Since her passing, “Finish Liza’s Run,” which retraced her steps, has been held annually to celebrate her life.
The runners run to the kidnapping location on Zach Curlin Street after gathering at the intersection of South Belvedere Boulevard and Central Avenue.
After that, runners will turn around and complete her run while honoring her legacy, family, and story.
