The identity of the suspect who killed a father and daughter in March continues to be sought after by authorities in Panola County, Mississippi.
When investigators arrived at the scene on River Road, they discovered the remains of 42-year-old Victor Gonzalez and his daughter, 19-year-old Serenity Gonzalez, along with the evidence of a violent crime scene.
They had both been shot. The two bodies were only a few feet apart, according to the deputies, who think it was a failed robbery.
Captain Justin Maples, who oversees investigations for the Panola County Sheriff’s Office, stated, “Whatever happened, it was very evil in my opinion.”
