Three suspects have been charged following an armed robbery at a pet business close to the airport area that involved two stolen puppies, both of which were found unharmed.
A man and a woman entered Teon’s Puppy Palace, and asked about buying a Cane Corso puppy. The two allegedly continued to stare at the front door while the victim showed them two puppies.
Shortly after, two more individuals with pistols broke into the business, stole puppies, and drove off in different cars. The puppies were worth $2,000 apiece, according to the police.
On Friday, April 24, the two stolen puppies were found unharmed and returned to the store.
An 18-year-old, Carlos Thomas, has been charged with aggravated robbery, theft of property, and prohibited weapon charges. Two 17-year-old males are facing the same charges. It’s unclear if the woman involved in this case will also face charges.
