Morgan Steel announced on Tuesday that it will buy a new property in Shelby County to expand its headquarters operations.
According to a press release, the facility is anticipated to invest $11.7 million in Memphis and generate 119 new jobs.
Founded in 2014, the family-owned steel manufacturing company will employ roughly 400 individuals in Memphis and Greeneville, Texas, following this expansion.
According to Duncan Williams, board chair of the Greater Memphis Chamber, “Morgan Steel’s expansion is a powerful reminder that Memphis provides the foundation for businesses to not only survive but thrive.”
