According to the White House, the City of Memphis became President Donald Trump’s next stop on Monday, where he will participate in a roundtable meeting regarding the Memphis Safe Task Force.
The roundtable will be starting at noon at the Memphis International Airport’s Tennessee Air National Guard Base.
The Memphis Police Department said that in order to get ready for the visit, they collaborated with law enforcement at all levels.
“We are coordinating with our local, state, and federal partners to support any requests for a safe visit. While specific operational details will not be released, any traffic impacts or other public disruptions will be shared on MPD’s website and social media platforms,” the department said in a statement.
