Next Monday, President Donald Trump is heading to Memphis.
Trump’s visit, according to White House officials, is intended to showcase “the incredible achievements of the Memphis Safe Task Force.”
“Under President Trump’s leadership, federal and state officials are working together successfully to remove criminals from the streets and make Memphis safe again,” said Liz Huston, White House spokeswoman.
Over 7,200 people have been arrested since the task force started last September.
