Memphis Police are looking for a suspect who broke out of custody after being arrested.
Investigators say that after receiving medical clearance to be booked into the Shelby County Jail, Xavion Summers fled from officers early on Sunday morning at Regional One Health.
According to the police, he was wearing a black Adidas track suit hoodie.
Investigators stated that Summers pulled away, broke free, and fled—while handcuffed—when an officer unlocked a patrol car outside the hospital at 4:45 a.m.
