On Friday and Saturday, the Mid-South Mission of Mercy will provide a free dental clinic to anyone living in the greater Memphis area. This comes after it was rescheduled weeks ago when the winter storm hit the Mid-South.
Bellevue Baptist Church will host the two-day clinic, which has been sponsored by the Memphis Dental Society for ten years.
Patients will be seen until capacity is met, with doors opening at 6 a.m. both days.
With the assistance of thousands of volunteers, the event has provided over 16,000 people with more than $12 million in care since 2016.
In addition to providing $2 million in free dental procedures, including as examinations, fillings, extractions, and cleanings, organizers anticipate treating over 1800 patients.
