Bartlett city alderman, David Reaves has started a conversation about doing away with property taxes and collecteing the money through monthly fees. City government has the ability to take a property from the owner, if that owner owes taxes. David Reaves says that shouldn’t be and he is suggesting the money used to run government services be collected monthly through fees.
