Following a powerful winter storm in the Mid-South, three fatalities have been reported out of Tate County, Mississippi.
Three males were found dead after a house fire, according to the Tate County Emergency Management Director.
They were between the ages of 45 and 75, and they are continuing to investigate what caused the fire, which may have started with a space heater.
According to Governor Tate Reeves on Wednesday, there have already been seven weather-related fatalities in Mississippi.
As of Wednesday morning, 117,800 consumers in Mississippi were without electricity, according to Reeves. That is less than the peak of roughly 180,000.
