As if the winter storm wasn’t bad enough, now scammers are attempting to get MLGW customers personal information through a fake rolling blackout scam. Residents should know that the public utility is not scheduling any rolling blackouts, nor is TVA. If you get a text or email stating that the public utility has scheduled rolling blackouts, do not click any links associated with it. MLGW has only conducted rolling blackouts once in 87 years and there are none planned now.
