After being apprehended in Arkansas, a man accused of stabbing a 16-year-old at a Cordova gas station over the weekend is currently jailed.
Frank Jackson, 42, is accused of aggravated assault.
He was booked into the Shelby County jail on Tuesday after being apprehended in West Memphis on Sunday.
The 16-year-old was left hospitalized following the attack early Sunday at the Exxon on North Germantown Parkway.
While serving the teenager, an unknown male approached him, took out a knife, and stabbed him, according to the gas station employee who alerted authorities.
Although the victim was sent to Regional One in critical condition, recovery is expected. Jackson’s next court date is December 29 and he is being held on a $50,000 bail.
