The Memphis Tigers will meet North Carolina State at the Union Home Mortgage Gasparilla Bowl.
On December 19, the game is scheduled for 1:30 p.m. at Raymond James Stadium in Tampa, Florida.
The Tigers will play in the Gasparilla Bowl for the first time this year after losing to South Florida by 27 points in what was then known as the St. Petersburg Bowl in 2008.
Reggie Howard, who took over as interim head coach when former head coach Ryan Silverfield departed for Arkansas is most likely to coach the team, despite the hiring of new head coach Charles Huff over the weekend.
