U.S. Marshals reported Tuesday morning that the Memphis Safe Task Force had apprehended an alleged gang member who had been wanted since 2012 on charges of attempted murder and possession of firearms.
Charges of reckless endangerment with a deadly weapon, possession of a firearm with intent to commit a felony, attempted first-degree murder, and illegal immigration to the United States are among the numerous felonies against 32-year-old Diego Armando Redonda Mendiola.
The task force claims that Mendiola belongs to a gang known as “Surenos 13.”
According to authorities, he was sent back to Mexico.
