LOCAL | AG Pam Bondi Confirms 53 Arrests In Memphis In Only Two Days

In a social media post Wednesday morning, U.S. Attorney General Pam Bondi announced that the Memphis Task Force had made 53 arrests and seized 20 weapons from Memphis streets in only two days.

She said that three firearms were seized in the house of a suspected murder suspect and that a missing child was located.

In an interview with Fox News on Tuesday, Bondi added that she and Secretary of War Pete Hegseth will be visiting Memphis this week.

“Memphis is a beautiful, historical city, and people are getting killed there every day,” Bondi said, adding that the homicides were going to “stop now thanks to Donald Trump.”

In just 48 hours, our Memphis Safe Task Force has made 53 arrests and seized 20 illegal firearms.

Yesterday, a missing juvenile was located and three firearms were recovered at the home of a murder suspect.
