Two toddlers were witnessed being abused by a 21-year-old male, who was detained by citizens until the police arrived .
Kae’Ren Pullen is in jail on charges of assaulting two children inside a gas station on Airways.
The man was followed by a group of bystanders who removed the kids from him. He ran in the direction of an apartment building nearby.
Police were then directed to the suspect’s location by those bystanders.
The incident on Airways was connected to a situation that began about an hour earlier, when police responded to a domestic disturbance in the 3600 block of Mendenhall.
Pullen faces a court date on Monday.
