After reportedly attempting to solicit sex from children at a Germantown Park last week, a man was taken into custody.
The bond for 38-year-old John T. Appling Jr. is $150,000. According to Germantown Police, the incident took place in Howard-McVay Park last Wednesday.
At the park, an adult man was reportedly seen attempting to engage in sexual activity with children.
Two counts of soliciting a minor and two counts of soliciting a minor to see sexual conduct were brought against Appling, a resident of Germantown
