U.S. Marshals detained a woman Monday who was wanted in relation to a fatal shooting that occurred in the Parkway Village area earlier this year.
45-year-old Anntenika Brown was arrested at her residence in the Whitehaven area on McCorkle Road, according to the U.S. Marshal Service. She is facing a first-degree murder charge.
Jeffrey Washington was shot and killed on Cottonwood Road on January 13, 2025. A day later, an arrest warrant was issued for Brown.
The Shelby County Detention Center is where she is being detained.
No details on the deadly shooting have been made available.
