Zach Edey of the Memphis Grizzlies was charged with reckless driving after an Indiana state trooper pulled him over for driving 101 mph in a 55-mph zone.
ESPN broke the story, reporting that Edey was speeding in an effort to pass another car.
He is set to appear in court in Indiana next Monday
After re-spraining his left ankle during an offseason practice this month, Edey will probably miss the start of the 2025–26 season. Surgery was necessary to brace the ankle.
